Prices – guide values
- 1-room apartment: €650–850
- 2-room apartment: €800–1,100
- 3-room apartment: €1,100–1,500
- 4 rooms / house: from €1,600
All prices plus 19% VAT. The exact price depends on the volume, distance, floor, elevator, walking distances and extra services. After a free survey – on site or by video call – you receive a transparent fixed price with no hidden costs.
Moving in Germany: what expats should know
- Registration (Anmeldung): after moving into a new apartment, you have to register your address at the Bürgeramt within two weeks.
- Parking permit: in Frankfurt, a moving truck often needs an official no-parking zone in front of the building. It has to be requested several days in advance – we handle the application for you.
- Notice period: for most rental contracts in Germany, tenants have a notice period of three months. Plan your moving date accordingly.
- Apartment handover: landlords usually inspect the apartment and sign a handover protocol (Übergabeprotokoll). Plan enough time for repairs or cleaning before this date.
- Tax benefit: part of the moving costs can often be deducted from your German income tax as household-related services (§ 35a EStG).
